This is a great place to grab lunch!! Smaller menu however everything is delicious I did not see one things come out from the kitchen that I wouldn’t enjoy. The two guys working there are so nice and friendly. They make sure you don’t want for anything. You need something they got you! “Best Cornbread you can get at a restaurant”
Very refreshing owner and staff particularly our waiter Richard, who was super attentive. My wife and I moved from Tennessee and we love their southern style cooking, friendly hospitality and small town atmosphere. Our food came out fast and delicious! We love The Gathering Place! Yum! This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in foley. They have an amazing menu and everything is phenomenal!! I couldn’t say enough good things about this little hole in the wall. We will come back time and time again.
Came for brunch/lunch at 11am and loved that we could order off the breakfast menu or the lunch menu. My daughter got the red velvet chicken and waffles, I had a turkey club and fiance had the pulled pork plate. Everything was sooooooo goooodddd. Will 100000% be back. Owner and staff are awesome people as well, can't wait to come back and try something new. 🍴🍽
The food was delicious 😋 and the staff were very helpful when ordering, and if they didn't know what I wanted they went to ask . Went 2 times in the same week and the owner /cook came out of the kitchen and we enjoyed a long conversation with her . Everytime we come to visit we will be stopping by The Gathering place to get a home cooked meal and a friendly conversation.
We had breakfast and it was AMAZING- the staff is dedicated and inviting. The pancakes are fluffy with a delicate crisp that is perfect. Chicken and waffles were delicious. The breakfast taco was a very generous portion and reasonably priced. The biscuits and gravy were delicious. The biscuits have a great flavor and are crisp exactly where you want them to be. Give this place a try- it will not disappoint.
Absolutely amazing experience. We have 7 kids so we don’t always get the best welcome. But here it was so inviting. Felt like I was at home. The food was beautiful. We will visit every chance we get. Staff was wonderful. Owners were kind. Even the kitchen staff greeted us. No one left hungry and everyone’s plates were clean. Even our picky eaters enjoyed it.
The food was phenomenal! Service was quick and friendly, too. The prices are so reasonable. We loved the atmosphere!
One of the best biscuits ever. Hands down. The Breakfast Casserole was excellent, the service exceptional, and the atmosphere was perfect. Comfortable. A place I’ll come back to and would stay awhile. When you can shake hands with the person preparing your meal - that’s a game changer.
Incredible food in welcoming atmosphere. After 5-6 visits, I can confidently say nearly everything on the menu is delicious. The staff and chefs consistently make you feel right at home. Highly recommend this gem for its awesome food and hospitality!
